So I found this web page very interresting that resolved my problem with xine now I can see some DVD without freezing or hang my pressario laptop 706EA. You can visit this page here: http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software/presario/ "Core system: There is a bug in the PCI chipset which causes the machine to lock when using a kernel optimised for Athlon/Duron. A workaround is included in kernel 2.4.18 and probably in later kernels. This workaround is enabled if you see the following line in your kernel log: Disabling VIA memory write queue: [55] 3c->1c For some reason, the system hangs on boot if you enable the local APIC. Use kernel 2.4.18 and choose ``Athlon/Duron/K7 processor family''; disable ``Use local APIC on single processors''. XVideo The XVideo extension, which is used by many video players, causes reproducible hangs in some applications, but not in others. Every use of XVideo in Xine hangs the system (you must run Xine with the -V Xshm option); on the other hand, neither Mplayer nor Ogle do. (There is no obvious difference between the XVideo code in Xine and that in the other viewers, which makes the hang somewhat mysterious.) At any rate, the video overlays of the Savage are not particularly efficient, and only implement nearest-neighbour scaling (leading to a blocky appearance for full-screen video). You will get much nicer results with comparable throughput by using optimised bilinear software scaling (as implemented by all current video players for X11) and either Xshm or DGA (which is a nasty hack, but useful in this case)." So after several months I found that xine works if I use xine -V Xshm. and I agree totally with is write above, I arrived at same conclusion with my own tests. Last sentence for Red Hat that doesnt have nothing to do with it this happenend with redhatblision and without than.
