Watchdog cards

Hello
I have decided to learn how to write drivers for the linux kernel
and I want to first start off with watchdog cards as they are simple and a
kernel developer that I talk to frequently suggested it would be a good
idea.
I have been searching google and poking around on sourceforge and
such with no success of finding watchdog cards that dont already have
linux drivers.

If anybody would happen to know of any PCI watchdog cards that
dont have drivers already written for them please tell me (hopefully add
in a url for me while your at it).

Thanks alot
