Linux Shutdown Problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Recently I build a dual processor system with Tyan motherboard. Loaded
Redhat 7.2, everything works fine, until I shutdown the system. Linux
shuts down all the way, but system is not powered off. At this point the
power button does not work and to shut off the power I have to
disconnect the cable. I am pretty sure I have connected hardware
correctly.

Any clues

Motherboard: Tyan S2507 Tiger 230
CPU: Pentium III (1 GHZ) X 2
