Kernel Porting to other processors

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello all,

As far as I know Linux Kernel works in a myriad of different processors.
Can anyone estimate the amount of effort to port the Linux kernel to a new
processor ?

Is it easy to make it work in a known processor (like mips) which is inside
a SoC (System-On-a-Chip) ?

Is there any good documentation about kernel porting?

Thank you in advance,
