Please consider adding -D__KERNEL__ to that gcc invocation. Made all the difference in the world to this newbie, instead of seeing gcc complain that the kernel headers were hosed :-) BTW, otherwise nice job on giving the -I part, haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else.
