Hello,
I am using kernel version 2.2.16-22.I wanted to compile the kernel 2.4.6
But when I tried "make zImage" I encountered the following error.

Setup is 2386 bytes.
System is 1134 kB
System is too big. Try using bzImage or modules.
make[1]: *** [zImage] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [zImage] Error 2

Can you also tell me what is the difference between make zImage and make bzImage.

Thanks in advance,
kind regards
Daniel Marian.
