Hi folks,

I have bothered a little bit with the articles around Linux, Linux kernel and such on the Wikipedia. [1]
I use Linux it on my router [2] and on my desktop. One of the reasons of the success of the Linux kernel is surely netfilter.
Yet Netfilter is only miserably represented in the wikipedia, e.g. cf [3] with the current version, as for interlinking.

It would be nice to have a better article about netfilter, at least in English. An svg-Logo, which could be easily pinned on
illustrations like the ones you see at [1], would also be nice. In case the Logo is something like CC-BY-ND, it won't
be accepted on the commons.wikimedia.org, but it will be accepted on the english Wikipedia!

IMO there are enough tutorials on the web, the article should introduce netfilter and what it actually is and what it does, and how
it scales, etc. It probably should be understood be people who created [3], though I doubt, it is even possible to write
such an article.

The diagrams I've found, are here: [4]

PS: I can't find the option to disable HTML-eMail, sorry if the webmail sends html.
