Simulating asymmetric nat on Linux

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Have been reading about the mention of symmetric and non-symmetric
( asymmetric ) nat, with most of the material mentioning that
Linux/iptables/netfilter implementing symmetric nat.

Not that I am advocating non-symmetric nat, is there a way to mimick
asymmetric nat on Linux ?

I want to have a way to simulate such nat on Linux for the purpose
of testing STUN client and server with regards of running SIP phones.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
