What's need to use netfilter statistic match ?

I am using 2.6.18-rc1-git6 and I managed to compile the kernel
together with the xt_statistic.ko module.

Now my question is what is the version of iptables supporting
it ? Is iptables-1.3.5 OK ? I don't see libipt_statistic.so in
/lib/iptables directory for iptables version 1.3.5.

Anyone has an example ?
