if no one has submitted an answer its probably due to the fact that 
i like many network and system admin's prefer behavior described.

messenging services and the like are ripe with stuff like

sql injection, addy harvesting, session hijax,,,way to buggy to
leave connected w/out checks.

glad you are frustrated - probably not the saftest thing to do.

This has been asked before by many ... but I am asking again incase someone
has actually found a solution ... Is there a way to keep msn messenger from
constantly disconnecting behind nat (when multiple users are using it of
course).

Frustrated msn user.
