hi, on my operating system SuSe 8.0 I could not find the entries: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_ignore_bogus_error_responses /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_destunreach_rate /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echoreply_rate /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_paramprob_rate /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_timeexeceed_rate so I got by the first Test of my beginner script error-messages. Can't find it And the error message: $IPTABLES -P unknown The script is from the book 'Das Firewallbuch' from SuSe (germany). Thanks for help! W.
