Just curious, what was the reason devs got rid of the stable branch, and only keep the dev branch...?
The advantage of the stable branch is that... it is stable (bug fixes after bug fixes, it becomes more and more stable (unless the fixes breaks something else of course)
On the other hand, the dev branch keep alternating between removing bugs and adding new ones, all the time...
Was the merging of dev to stable too complicated?
Too many complains of missing features?
