Thank you for pushing me on this, Reimar. I had used xineramascreen often in the past, but only with the -2 option, never realizing that it was used to position windows on individual displays as well. I made changes to the command line and everything works as expected now.

Once again, careful R-ing of the FM makes all the difference.
