I'll do this.

BTW I've now got CoreAVC installed (exe installed with wine) and mplayer
patched as per http://code.google.com/p/coreavc-for-linux/w/list.

With coreserv as the video codec the video playback is very nice (no "slow
motion" as with ffmpeg) but audio / video is still out of sync.
