Noted. I've been using mailing lists for ~ 14 years and never been caught on this. I've checked RFC 1855 and I don't see anything on top posting. However I admit that I haven't read any docs or welcome stuff on the mplayer-users mailing list. Anyway - thanks very much for the help.
