Ah Iee. I looked at panscan before and it didn't seem to do the righthing as it cuts off the right and left bands and I really wantedo cut of the top and bottom. But ifou are in a video output driver that works (eg. xv not sdl) and fullcreen mode, pan scan will cut off the right and left bands expandinghe rest to fit the screen. Excellent.
