The patch titled

has been added to the -mm tree.  Its filename is
     kernel-paramsc-improve-standard-definitions.patch

This patch should soon appear at
    http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmots/broken-out/kernel-paramsc-improve-standard-definitions.patch
and later at
    http://ozlabs.org/~akpm/mmotm/broken-out/kernel-paramsc-improve-standard-definitions.patch

Before you just go and hit "reply", please:

We are repeating the functionality of kstrtol in param_set_long, and the
same for kstrtoint.  We can get rid of the extra code by using the right
functions.
