this particular change has increased mem_section static array from 16k to 16M.
Or total .bss of the kernel from 700k to >16M (v4.4).

Logical solution would be to switch from SPARSEMEM_STATIC to SPARSEMEM_EXTREME,
but there is commit 7de58fab ("[MIPS] Sparsemem fixes"), which warns against it.

Do you have any idea, if the 11 years old warning is still actual?
Any better ideas to repair this waste of memory?
