Hi,

Patch basically looks fine but needs some extra work.
Detailed comments below...

Are the above 6 includes really needed?

Please remove /proc interface. Information regarding PCI device
and drives are available through another sources (i.e. lspci, hdparm)
and (if needed) you can easily write user-space tool for displaying
chipset configuration.

Data available through lspci, please remove this code.

Also when it comes to debug messages please define macro
which will be defined only for #ifdef DEBUG so we can get rid
of #ifdef/#endif ugliness, i.e.:

#ifdef DEBUG
#define xilleon_dbg(format, args...) printk(KERN_DEBUG format, args)
#else
#define xilleon_dbg(format, args...)
#endif

Please also use __FUNCTION__ macro instead of function name directly.

This is wrong place to do this. Moreover this should be already handled
by hwif->ide_dma_host_on(). In case of this driver __ide_dma_host_on()
seems sufficient?

max_drive_pio_mode() shares a lot of code with
drivers/ide/pci/serverworks.c:config_chipset_for_pio()
except that it doesn't handle PIO SLOW/0/1 modes
and wrongly assumes PIO 2 to be minimum mode
supported by a device.

Please try to find a way to share code with serverworks.c
(moving to ide-lib.c) and fix "PIO2" assumption.

xilleon_ide_tune_chipset?

Please don't use 'byte' type, 'u8' is fine.

IDE layer will never assign drive->dn > 3 so this check should go away.

Please rewrite above code to be more readable, i.e.:

         pio_mode_reg_off = pciideX225_IDE_PIO_MODE + (drive->dn > 1) ? 1 : 0;
         pio_cntl_reg_off = pciideX225_IDE_PIO_CONTROL + (drive->dn >
1) ? 1 : 0;
         tmg_cntl_reg_off = pciideX225_IDE_TMG_CNTL + drive->dn;
         dma_mode_reg_off = pciideX225_IDE_DMA_MODE + drive->dn;

This is wrong place to do it and ide_config_drive_speed()
does it anyway on success.

Redundant, see comment for x225_ide_tune_chipset().

->tuneproc needs to handle pio == 255 argument which means autotune.

max_drive_udma_mode() and max_drive_dma_mode()
duplicates functionality available in IDE core so please
remove them and use ide_use_dma() + ide_dma_speed().

[ please remember to set correct values of hwif->ultra_mask,
hwif->mwdma_mask and hwif->atapi_dma in ide_init_x225() ]

You should do x225_ide_tune_drive(drive, 255) instead.

You should use return value of x225_ide_tune_chipset() instead.

This is wrong thing to do here. hwif->dma_base is assigned
after successful allocation of I/O region in ide_iomio_dma().

After removing hwif->dma_base assignment ide_dmacapable_x22x()
becomes unnecessary and should be removed.

xilleon_chipsets[] entries for X210/X225/X226 are identical

Removal of IDE chipset modules is unsafe and not supported.
Please remove xilleon_ide_exit() until IDE core is fixed.

Please try to use DocBook style for function comments.

You may also need to run lindent on this driver as in few places
it contains spaces instead of tabs and whitespaces at the end
of the line.
