In the next release, new resources will exist (ATTACHMENTDIR and
ATTACHMENTURL) that will allow you to place attachments wherever
you want. If you want to test it out, you can checkout MHonArc from
CVS, <https://savannah.nongnu.org/cvs/?group=mhonarc>.

Snapshot bundles of what is in CVS is made once a week and
are available at <http://www.mhonarc.org/release/MHonArc/tar/>.
These bundles can be installed as a regular release. Since they are
only done once a week, you may want to check out the mhonarc-commits
archive, <http://www.mhonarc.org/archive/html/mhonarc-commits/>
to see what changes have been commited on what dates.

The current snapshot should contain ATTACHMENTDIR and ATTACHMENTURL
support.

As for latest official release, the only thing provided is the
"subdir" MIMEARGS option for the various filters (see the MIMEFILTERS
resource). However, "subdir" is relative to OUTDIR.

You can also patch MHonArc yourself (or customize the filters) to
do what you want.
