We are thinking of something like this

set up a table that maps indexes to the members email
  1  a@b.com
  2  b@c.com
  3  c@d.net
  ...

replace all the addresses with a "mailing list" address
  a@b.com -> ml+1@list.com
  c@d.net -> ml+3@list.com
  ...

when someone replies to ml+1@list.com the email address is looked up and 
replaced with a@b.com IF the sender is also a member of the list.



Prevents harvesting.
Members do not have to do anything.
  but
Causes a LOT of email to go to "list.com"
Does not cope with a list member using an email account not subscribed

and would require setting it all up.
