Using CPANPLUS problem (was: New MHonArc Bug Submission Method

It was making me jump through too many hoops, and it wasn't
really a bug anyway. 

CPANPLUS can't find dir name to untar MHonArc2.5.8 into.

I can install it by hand the usual way, no problem, but using
CPANPLUS, I get the following error report. perl is 5.008!
(really 5.8.0 RC2) on cygwin
