The good news is that it is worth it, the latest Fennec nightlies are
really pretty good quality and browsing is very fast. (as long as you
don't need Flash...)

Installed Fennec 4b2 with dpkg yesterday and unfortunately I can't share your enthusiasm. Application went back to its habits from pre-1.1 era, when pretty much every tap on screen was followed by huge lag, lasting anything between 1 second and ~1 minute (sic!). The only more-or-less usable version of Firefox Mobile is 1.1, where lags were somehow reduced to acceptable levels, but only when I've had less than 2-3 tabs opened at a time. Having said that, MicroB, albeit having lot of room for improvements too, is still my browser of choice...
