I'm just starting out with IPv6. All my computers run Linux, which handles it very well. My notebook also has XP on it, which appears to work too. Since my ISP doesn't provide IPv6 yet, I have to tunnel to a broker gateway, which gave me a /56 subnet, which can be split into 256 /64 subnets. That's 2^64 or 18446744073709551616 addresses on each subnet!!! I use Freenet6 from http://gogonet.gogo6.com. They have clients that run on Linux, Mac, Windows etc. It is possible to use a proxy or NAT to provide IPv6 access to IPv4 only devices, but I'd prefer to avoid that if possible.
