Come on, there has to be someone with a N810 who has/had the maemo-control-USB installed who has encountered this problem and has a fix or who can provide a functional suggestion. :-) This looks like a good way to access the Internet from a wired device and considering I travel a lot and I'm pretty much tethered to my N810, could solve some challenges.
