I'm not sure this is a bug... here is the story.
In order to watch italian national TV, a linux user must do funny things, like parsing the page, downloading relinkers and extract the real mms url. I have a script that makes this and produces a page with mms://... links and embedded objects.
An example link is (don't try, it won't work, see later):
The links contains an auth token that changes every ~ 60 seconds.
This works fine from:
* ubuntu FF via mplayer plugin
* ubuntu with Chrome via Totem
* ubuntu xterm with mplayer
* N900 xterm with the following command:
gst-launch playbin uri=mms://livestream.rai.it.edgestreams.net/reflector:64084?auth=daEbvdZaNa9a6cvdxa9bsbQb7d7ala4dmcG-blfNNo-b4-BmsuAEo&aifp=V001
But if I try to open the link from the generated page (the generate page with the mms link and the embedded object) using N900 browser all I get from the media player is "Nessuna connessione al server" (translates to "No connection to server")
So, it seems like N900 gstreamer is able to play the stream without problems but the mediaplayer doesn't.
Should I file a bug ?
