My N800 unlocks about half the time; when it fails I have to 
start the whole sequence all over again -- but it seems to be a 
difficulty using my *big* fingers to posh that centre-square button and 
not the squarish ring around it.

But I suppose it could be hardware.  Does the button make good contact? 
Is there dirt in the switch?
