I would agree with the info below. Mostly I find it frustrating that with current WiFi you have to keep reconnecting and switching to other networks if on the move (walking/car). Given limited free WiFi availability and costs of hotspots & fragmentation of providers, you could either get Boingo which I think covers The Cloud / BT OpenZone & others... But... My recommendation would be to buy a Three (3 - www.three.co.uk) Pay as you go Sim (£10 - which includes £10 credit), and using £5 of that for 2Gb of free 3G data (make sure you get the correct add on as there is a more expensive data add-on). Then tether your mobile to your N800 over bluetooth (make sure you have a phone which supports this). There are other networks available, but costs vary. Three are the best value IMO, and I've always found reception great (also discovered in holiday that on Norfolk coast it's actually the best of all UK networks there!)
