Re: Claws Mail Install Failure - libtasn1 missing

I've been having the same issue. App manager would fail to
update/download Claws. I hadn't figured out the work around noted below.

However, I did note that the Tools/Application Folders shows everything
on the list following Claws repository also to have failed to update. I
gather the wayward Claws repository creates sort of a roadblock that
apparently causes app manager to just halt rather than skipping over it
and continuing. Go figure...

The workaround is you may have to edit the Claws repository in the App
Manager list and check the box to bypass checking the Claws repository.
Otherwise, you may continue to have the same problem if your repository
fix remains after the Claws roadblock.

Presumably at some point, you'd stop bypassing the Claws repository,
but it's anyone's guess when the problems in the Claws Repository will
be fixed. Claws seemed to be working just fine until the recent
'update/upgrade'. I sort of wish I'd ignored the update... Kind of
reminds me of the BS that Windows occasionally does with security fixes
being like a virus of their own making, requiring another fix of the fix.
