I bought a class 6 8Gb card (full size SD for my N800) as I wanted to have the highest speed available for dumping large backup files onto the card (data backups from various PCs, not from the N800) and also for dropping large video files on there from time to time. I have an external SDHC card reader which makes use of the higher write speed capability.
