I noticed you didn't add yourself as a CC, so I'll ask here...

We need to know what is causing your problem with the metalayer-crawler.
Could you run the crawler again and when it starts to eat memory&CPU,
attach to the bug the output of:
	ls -l /proc/$(pidof metalayer-crawler)/fd/

And preferably also some output from:
	strace -p $(pidof metalayer-crawler)

Currently we know only about the symlink issue which unfortunately
wasn't fixed in Chinook. Non-power users don't create symlinks
under MyDocs and AFAIK crawler doesn't monitor directories where
packages install their files, so normally symlinks are not a problem.
