Some users were reporting such errors on the Forum, and according to some, (I'm just quoting here)one possible cause would be with the INTERNAL SD capacity... You have to make sure there is enough room on your INTERNAL SD card for the download to go through. And yes, external SD card is ignored by the system for this purpose. Hope this helps.
