I did it via file export/import using jpilot on linux: exported my contacts as vcards, my notes as text (or csv), and my calendar as iCalendar. It wasn't perfect, but it was probably 98%. I then imported the contacts and calendar into gpe-contacts and gpe-calendar. Notes are text files, so that isn't a big deal except I had one or two notes that were more than 4K in size which caused jpilot to truncate them.
