USB keyboard on n800?

It won't by default. Look up "usb host" in the mailing list archives
for copious amounts of discussion on this.

Part of the problem is that the N800 does not supply power from the
USB port to the device.
The other half of the problem is that you need software hacks to
switch the N800 into host mode vs the default client mode and AFAIK
the hacks are incomplete for the N800. They do work for the 770 though
(along with a power injector cable).

So, in a nutshell, it is probably easier and more painfree to get a
Bluetooth keyboard. Many of those work out of the box.
