GPE 2.8 released

And, went to Maemo where the 2.8 apps are shown, go to them and click
install and get moved to a page with the [install] repo name etc, NOT an
auto install to the App Manager? What is the recommended next step? Thanks
for working out this thread - just trying to get the most current GPE.
