a2dp not working, any help appreciated

Looks OK.

So, all you need to do is start a2dpd then, in a second seperate xterm session start mplayer and audio should stream to your headset. If you want to use only a sigle xterm session, start a2dpd as "a2dpd &" then start mplayer.
