And then you don't have issues with touchscreen? It's not necessary to remove the card, disabling crawler (and its MMC accesses) is enough? When the touchscreen gets unresponsive, if you use "dmesg" (e.g. over ssh) to see kernel messages, does it show any messages about the MMC? - Eero
