How did you manage Linux+Scratchbox on a Live CD ?

I mean: my installation of Scratchbox requires at least 3 GB of space. This 
means that a LiveCD would run on a machine with at least 4 GB of RAM...

What is the minimu requirement to run your LiveCD ?
