I'm really interested in the platform library upgrades, such as GTK+, cairo, and so on. It's becoming more and more difficult to keep the latest version of desktop based applications ported to Maemo, since we are stuck with old version of core libraries that must not be upgraded. I've been using sardine in scratchbox for some time now and the results are quite promising. I'm waiting to get a > 2 GB SD card to get sardine also installed in my device.
