Hi Frank, As root run: dpkg-reconfigure dash and select "No". This will solve this problem. Another tip is to check and edit, as root and outside sbox, your "/scratchbox/etc/nsswitch.conf" file and change the "hosts" like this: hosts: files dns This will avoid problems when you try to connect to the internet (e.g.: using apt-get update).
