Hello, i want to install scratchbox with the installer script (http://repository.maemo.org/stable/bora/maemo-scratchbox-install_3.1.sh) mentioned in http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/bora/INSTALL.txt When i want to run the scratchbox-install-script i get a syntax error, because busybox is not compatible to bash. Then i tried to install bash, but i got as result: The following NEW packages will be installed: bash WARNING: The following essential packages will be removed. This should NOT be done unless you know exactly what you are doing! dpkg busybox (due to dpkg) sysvinit 0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 109 to remove and 2 not upgraded. Need to get 635kB of archives. After unpacking 50,0MB disk space will be freed. You are about to do something potentially harmful. To continue type in the phrase 'Yes, do as I say!' ?] Does anyone know what the best solution is? Is it easier to modify the install-script or hould i try to install the bash? Maybe there's a workaround out there... regards, Frank Schreiber -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frank Schreiber IPVS, Univ.
