Hi All,
this is my first post so go easy. :-)

I got a N800 on May the 13th (for my birthday!) and have successfully
flashed the latest image and then entered got red pill mode and
installed ssh, X Terminal. I have followed the instructions below (which
were in a previous post from April)
 http://maemo.org/pipermail/maemo-developers/2007-April/009697.html

the post says :

The mount command from busybox doesn't work with nfs, you need to
install "real" mount. Fortunately, 'apt-get install mount' should do
the trick.

So I try 'apt-get install mount' and it says mount is the latest
version?

$ mount -V

says

mount: mount-2.12p

when i try

$ sudo /usr/sbin/gainroot

# mount -t nfs 192.168.0.11:/nas1_share /media/nfs

i get

mount: RPC: Program not registered

additionally

# rpcinfo -p

reveals the following ( shouldn't a NFS entry be present?)

program vers proto   port
    100000    2   tcp    111  portmapper
    100000    2   udp    111  portmapper
    100024    1   udp   2048  status
    100024    1   tcp   4361  status

i also tried ...

# apt-get install rx-34-kernel-nfs-modules

and the kernel that goes with it but no success.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

Regards

Carrick
