Sounds like you need a US-based credit-card wielding third-party that is willing to pay for the device and either give it to your friend in California, or ship to you in Brazil and for you to then at some point transfer funds to the third party to cover their costs. Not an ideal situation at all, but possibly the only option as your friend has no valid US credit card. :(
