Nokia /could/ take a page from Microsoft's book and provide the ability to "slipstream" updates into a flash package.  Of course, this would probably lose the 'official' moniker, but would be a cool option for a user to re-flash the particular revisions and apps he/she uses.

I did this with SP2 for XP to lessen the time it takes to update.  Of course, there's no SP3, so it is still an arduous process, but better...
