[maemo-users] Version number for New OS 2006 firmware

Hi Folks,

Is there a guide anywhere for deciphering the release version numbers? 
The descriptions of "final", "latest", and "updated" used on 
http://www.maemo.org/downloads/nokia_770.php are not really helpful.
