Re: data rate using gmrs on State-side Cingular. Hello to all. I just wanted to interject one or two observations. I own a Treo 650 and it wont do bluetooth reliably. In the end, I went to a Motorola L2 ( a basic Slvr w/ no iTunes and no other options) and I now get consistent and reliable bluetooth performance with the Nokia 770. Motorola bluetooth software, in my humble opinion, is the most reliable in the market and buyers should beware of smartphones bluetooth implementations as very alpha and not reliable when used with other products. Nokias software is great as well.
