[maemo-users] Is R&D mode harmful?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi folks,

http://maemo.org/maemowiki/HowDoiBecomeRoot says

Once root access has been granted, it is recommended to disable R&D
    mode.

Why is it so? In what way modifying /etc/sudoers or the gainroot script
is better than keeping R&D mode on?

(I promise to put the answer to the wiki.)
