In Gmail:

  * Click "More Options" and then "Reply All".
  * Position your cursor in the message area, trim the portions not
    relevant to your reply and then enter your new message *after* the
    one which you're quoting. By default, the cursor will be placed at
    the top of the message, with some excess blank lines. These will
    have to be corrected manually.
