Ok, I see what you mean. It looks like you created the package with a newer version of dpkg that the version on the 770 doesn't understand completely. Things are still not working completely; when selecting cells and clicking Format->Cells gnumeric crashes with the message: osso_initialize() WARNING: if the system bus activated this program, Libosso does not connect to the session bus!
