I've just uploaded a new utility to the maemo download page. It is a tool that sits on the statusbar and monitors network activity. The amount of Tx/Rx is shown as a bar graph similar to the cpu load utility. Clicking on the icon will bring up a screen where the IP address, netmask, total Tx/Rx bytes transferred and current Tx/Rx rates are displayed. Hope you guys find this useful.
